This is a message that I shared on March 29, 2009. I’m presenting this message in an abbreviated written form. Our new church website is currently under construction and we anticipate making it accessible to everyone within three to five weeks. Podcasts of prior messages will be available on our new website. In the meantime, if you would like a copy of this message in its entirety please let me know. We can burn off a copy of it in CD form and get it to you. I hope the message will encourage you and that you may be able apply it to your life in very tangible and practical ways.
Volumes have been written about the subject of Leadership. It matters not how you slice it up, at the end of the day leaders lead. It goes without saying that Joshua was a tremendous leader. He wasn’t born that way. He served in the trenches before he was presented with a choice and subsequently given a platform of leadership. We can learn much from the life of Joshua in terms of leadership. As evidenced in his life, when leaders lead they rise to the challenge, they lead the way, they communicate clearly and they lay out the plan and vision.
